Flingin Flangin Good!

Another week in paradise! Otra semana en la vida!

Time is still FLYING. This past weekend, Elder Gehring, Elder Parry, and I created a tournament for fĂștbol in the mornings. We went around and recruited every person in the CCM, and then we picked 8 captains, after which we held the first CCM Draft in the history of this Santiago CCM!

I´m a coach of 2 of the 8 teams, and I´ll tell you what WE ARE FLINGIN FLANGIN GOOD! Hermanas and Elders (and Latinos...wow they are ridiculously good at fĂștbol) are all mixed together, so it´s pretty equal and pretty dang fun. The tournament ends Friday. Elder Anderson and I commentate (is that a verb?) on the games when we´re not on the court, and we got President and Hermana Doll to ref the championship game! We also got permission to use headphones from the computer lab to wear while we coach, and it´s just a blast. Everyone plays, and everyone has fun. Of course, this is only day 2, next week there might be some different emotions.

I have 3 minutes before I need to finish emailing, so this one is gonna be a bit short. Hey I met Elder Texiera or however you spell it this week! Member of the 70. He presided over the ground breaking of the Conceppcion Temple, then we saw him on the temple grounds outside the CCM and shook his hand! He took a picture with us on his camera, said he´d put in on facebook or something? But who knows, who really cares haha. It was cool meeting him.

Two other things of note. Scripture mastery comes in handy EVERY DAY of the mission. And hey I got a haircut, and a selfie with my stylist! Yep I said stylist :)

I have a testimony of this work, and I have a testimony of this Gospel. One of the greatest things I´m learning is that, no matter how hard or easy the day is, I can find familiarity and comfort when I am on my knees, conversing with The Lord. He is unchanging, He is all encompassing, He is ours, and we are His. As I try my best to find Him in my every day life, then no matter where I am, I am always home. And it all starts on my knees!

Hey be a missionary this week! Find somebody to lift!

Okay I gotta go.

Les amo, les amo, les amo!
