A Humble Heart

This week WAS a much better week. Many small miracles this week.

An empty stomach is the world´s greatest chef, a humble heart is the key to God´s greatest miracles

Man I´m clever :) haha if you think on that one, that's pretty profound!

Well, changes are this next Tuesday. I´m pretty sure I´m going to be changed out, potentially to my last ward. Wild. We´re on a search for new investigators, the ones we have been working with are kind of reaching a stopping point in their progress. I enjoy contacting, I really like talking to new people and relating the Gospel to their life. The Prince of Peace videos are awesome!! We´ve been using them to contact and find more people, it´s been hard finding these people the 2nd time around though. But, all is well. I feel really motivated and excited for this week that´s coming. President Eyering´s talk on the Priesthood really really is having an impact on me, I´m excited to try and bless people more with my priesthood this week. I think that focus will help my companion and I really talk with everyone and find those who are seeking.

Quick thought from my personal study the I gotta go:

"Now this he spake because of the stiffneckedness of Laman and Lemuel; for behold they did murmur in many things against their father, because he was a visionary man, and had led them out of the land of Jerusalem, to leave the land of their inheritance, and their gold, and their silver, and their precious things, to perish in the wilderness."

Laman and Lemuel complained, saying that they were taken out of the land of their inheritance, they lost their gold, silver, ad precious things, and were now going to perish in the wilderness.

What happened to Laman and Lemuel? They were taken out of Jerusalem, lost their gold, silver, all their precious things....and ultimately, they perished. Haha. They nailed it.

"And it had come to pass that my father spake unto her, saying: I know that I am a visionary man; for if I had not seen the things of God in a vision I should not have known the goodness of God, but had tarried at Jerusalem, and had perished with my brethren.
But behold, I have obtained a land of promise, in the which things I do rejoice"

Lehi said "I have received a land of Promise!" and what did he receive? a land of Promise. He also nailed it.

There are power in our words. The language of faith really is positive and pointed towards the future. (Mosiah 16:6)

All is well!
