Well I am beat! This is a little off time, we have had a wild P day so far, as far as running all over town, and now I have little time at all because we have a lot of people who want to see those of us who are leaving before we, well, leave.
By we, I do not mean me, of course. Transfer calls came. Elder Marks is headed out to Zadar again, and Elder Mulder is going to end his mission in Novi Sad. I will stay in my area in Novi Beograd, and Elder Wade will be my new companion, he has been serving in Zagreb as of lately. He is one transfer younger than Elder Marks, and he is also from Gilbert? I am sure I will have more details on that next week. He comes tomorrow night. We are also getting another set of elders to replace the sisters. One is a transfer older than me and has been serving in Sarajevo, Bosnia, and the other has been somewhere in Croatia...Karlovac maybe? And Elder Radaković who has been serving in Banja Luka will come be Zone Leader with Elder Bates. So, that is our new district, coming in hot!
Why all the details, you ask? Because this was the worst week of the mission so far, and I do not have a lot to report. I got sick Monday night with a nasty bug that had me losing everything I ate for 2 days, and on top of that got tonsillitis and some other garbage until Friday night. I was pretty useless all week, and I felt it. Just sort of hung out, studied a ton. But I guess when you are set apart to work, and you don't ...work....you lose purpose and thats never good.
So. That is nearly all. The other Elders were able to meet with Nana and a few others this week, and everything is going well with them, they are so excited for baptism. I was able to go see the Jovanović family with Elder Mulder on Saturday, and that was also a great time. Elder Marks and I visited Nana and Zoe and the kids last night as well (I don't remember what age I said they were, but Johan is 2 and Ceilija is 6 months), and we went on a walk and talked for a good long while. But, that is the extent of my missionary work, I think! Got pretty down, just from not doing anything I think, but I will be right back at it tomorrow!
I wish this was longer...but I really don't have much else. I am doing well now. I am pretty excited for transfers. It will be a big growing experience for all of us. Guarantee we get lost, since the only 2 remaining are Elder Bates and I....and lets be honest, I don't count! But I sincerely believe everything President Rowe does, he does for a reason and that his decisions on transfers are always inspired. For just a quick story, last spring or so, he requested a heck ton more sister missionaries from Salt Lake than ever before. Everyone in the mission was a bit weirded out by that, until that next Fall the age changed, and immediately we have an infinite amount of Sisters coming into the mission. So much so that EVERY sister from my MTC group is training a new sister this transfer. WHAT. That is so scary. But so awesome.
